What is your earliest memory?

Sliding down the stairs on a pillow, my mother on the phone screaming.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Cruelty.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

Getting naked in a church.

What is your most treasured possession?

Peace of mind.

What makes you unhappy?

Cruelty.

What is your favourite smell?

Babies’ heads.

What is your most unappealing habit?

Smelling random babies’ heads.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A map maker – like my Dad.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Smoking

 

What do you owe your parents?

Everything

To whom would you most like to say sorry, and why?

People say sorry too often when it’s not necessary.

Basically / Sorry!

What is the worst job you’ve done?

Illegal construction worker in 37 degree heat, Philadelphia, USA

What has been your biggest disappointment?

U2 and Bono

Which living person do you most admire, and why?

Anybody who keeps going.

Procrastination and apologising unnecessarily!

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Closed minded unevolved rigidity.

Not sure – but David Lynch can play my hair.

The person that stole my wee folding bike.

Danny, my wee boy.

Coffee, newspaper, cycling, picnic, campfire.

That ‘ahhhhh’ moment.
