Belfast English Lessons: One to One Lessons

These personalised language courses consist of 5 or more hours of individual tuition per week. Our one-to-one English lessons are completely bespoke and tailored to the student. We carry out a detailed “Needs Analysis” for all one-to-one students in order to customise their very own negotiated syllabus, timetable and study materials.

This type of course is ideal for Beginner students, those with very specific language goals or those who wish to study part-time.

Students can either study entirely in this way or, if they prefer, combine an Intensive Group course in the mornings with 5 more hours of individual tuition in the afternoons.

The content, times and start dates of these private classes can be arranged to suit the individual student’s needs. For example, courses can be designed for people who need to develop negotiating skills, presentation skills, telephone skills, writing skills, to consolidate their grammar and to improve their pronunciation.

We offer individual tuition at all levels from beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2). We can also offer similarly tailor-made classes for two students studying together, providing they have similar levels and linguistic needs.

Tuition, level test, all course materials, certificates, access to a programme of social and cultural activities and access to all school facilities are all included in your course fees.

Why study English in Belfast?

The best way to learn a language is to surround yourself with native speakers. That means to learn English, you should spend time in an English speaking country.

Of course, the obvious destinations might be London or New York.

However, it’s worth thinking about what makes a city great for international students. Belfast has the perfect combination of culture, affordability and a laid back lifestyle. After all, you want to have a great experience outside your English class.

Learning English is also much easier when you can get out and meet locals. These interactions will help to build your confidence, as well as improving your listening and speaking skills.
