The Occupational English Test (OET) is offered by Cambridge Assessment and is a medical English exam which aims to assess the English proficiency of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and midwives. In the UK, a grade B in the OET (IELTS equivalent band 7; CEFR C1) is typically required for healthcare professionals to practise in the country.
Our face-to-face course is specifically tailored to equip healthcare professionals* with the skills necessary to excel in the OET exam. Our experienced instructors customise the course content to suit the needs and proficiency levels of each class, ensuring that lessons are personalised for maximum progress.Â

International House’s intensive program requires students to be in Belfast for 24 hours per week, for a minimum of one week. Options for reaching Belfast include a number of air and sea routes, or using public transport from Dublin Airport. International House also offers a range of accommodation options in Belfast, as well as a busy calendar of social events for all our students.
