Describe your perfect day in the city?

Sunshine, live music and good food.

Exciting, positive vibes.

What is the best thing about being a teacher?

Meeting, working with and learning from people who come from all over the world. It’s a very cool way to spend the day!

What was your most embarrassing moment?

Oh far too many to remember just one- I embarrass myself on a daily basis.

What is your most treasured possession?

My grandmother’s wedding ring – it’s very special to me.

What makes you unhappy?

Unfairness.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A writer but, as cheesy as it sounds, a teacher too. A lot of family members are/were teachers and I grew up surrounded by people who loved their job (well most days anyway 😉

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

A can of ice cold Red Bull and a mountain of chocolate – the dream snack for me.

What do you owe your parents?

Everything.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

I use the words lovely,at the end of the day and to be honest far too much.

What is the worst job you’ve done?

Chopping onions for hours on end in a restaurant.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

My son

What keeps you awake at night?

Worrying (usually about stupid things) or when I drink too much Red Bull 🙂

Tell us a secret .

I’ve never been roller skating, ice skating or skateboarding- any kind of skating.

What is top of your bucket list?

Visiting South America starting with Colombia.

How do you relax?

Cuddling up in front of the fire with a good movie or TV series.

What single thing would improve the quality of your life?

Some sort of teleportation machine to take me to and from Belfast every day so I didn’t have to spend so long on the train.

Where would you most like to be right now?

On a beach somewhere hot or having a pub lunch in Carlingford followed by a walk along the water with our dogs.

Lovely .

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My little boy
