International House Belfast is proud to announce the launch of the International Foundation Year.
This year-long, pre-university programme aims to provide English learners from all backgrounds with the necessary qualifications, knowledge, and confidence they’ll need to enter their choice of university in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, or Australia.
Because it’s the course’s first year, we’re offering a higher than average industry commission rate of 15% to agents.
To earn this commission, simply provide your students with the key benefits of this learning opportunity and encourage them to sign up. Sign-up only lasts until September, then this excellent earning opportunity will be gone.
The NCC IFY course offers wins all-round. As an agent you’ll earn a large commission, at IH Belfast we’re able to sign up students and help them as they prepare for university, and students will receive a year of essential knowledge and skills at the leading English Language and Teacher Training Institute in Northern Ireland.

Benefits of the Programme for Students
The NCC International Foundation Year programme will be an indispensable learning experience for many students. For some, it may mean the difference between never attending university or earning their degree and going on to a successful career.
As you speak with students, feel free to mention the key benefits of the NCC IFY:
- English Language
A primary aim of NCC IFY is to improve the English language abilities of students beyond rudimentary communication. This is crucial for success at an English-speaking university. Students will improve their speaking, reading, listening, and writing and will gain a sophisticated understanding of complex grammar and advanced vocabulary.
- Cultural Studies
The programme also enhances students’ cultural understandings so that they are better prepared when they begin a university programme in an Anglo-country. Students will learn about the various features of a foreign country’s culture with a particular focus on student life and studying abroad.
- Advanced Technical Teachings
Those students who plan to pursue computing and/or business careers will be introduced to these fields via academic study in English to better prepare them.
- Help With University Placement
At the end of their qualification, students will have numerous advantages over other applicants when applying to university. They may apply for a guaranteed entry route at one of our partner universities or to one of the 30 universities worldwide that directly recognise the NCC IFY. They can also apply via UCAS as unlike other foundation programmes, the NCC IFY is the only foundation programme registered with the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations.
