In the heart of the student area, Queen’s University Halls of Residence are situated in calm and spacious parkland on the south side of the city. Queen’s Elms is also close to the vibrant Lisburn Road which is full of shops, cafes and restaurants. For the fun-loving student, it is ideally located less than 20 minutes’ walking distance from Botanic Avenue, which is a student hotspot.
Queen’s Elms is a 15 -20 minute walk from IH Belfast, or you can take the bus to Queens University and walk to the school. A single journey costs £1.40. You can buy multi-journey tickets from the Translink website or from stations in the city.
All bedrooms have a private ensuite bathroom and full access to a shared fully equipped kitchen, sharing with around 10 other students. Each hall has a comfortable common room where students can relax and chat with other students.
